10 Things worth sharing this week

Here are 10 things I found worth investing myself in this week:

1. Hauz Khas lake. Great place to just sit peacefully or work or walk or just be. And it is an added bonus if you like monkeys roaming around. If you are ever near Hauz Khas, New Delhi then must visit.

2. I’ve been listening to Cliff Richard while I make papercrafts. Two of his songs that I really like are ‘Wired for Sound’ and ‘Devil Woman’.

3. Literature Festival (Sahitya AAJTAK). I don’t usually enjoy going to crowded places but it was an experience.

I was there mainly to listen to Dr. Vikas Divyakirti. But I have never seen this level of fan following before in my life, that too for a teacher. Hats off!

4. I can’t stop talking about it. Watch ‘The Killer’ by David Fincher. (It’s on Netflix). Some other movies of David Fincher: Fight Club(1999), Zodiac(2007) and The Social Network(2010).

5. I recently watched ‘Prison Break‘ (yes, the old TV show) and now I am just listening to Wentworth Miller speaking so charismatically in various places.

6. I always read during my commute. If I can’t bring a big book, I take smaller ones that are easy to carry. They’re more interesting than just scrolling on my phone. Sometimes, I also bring a small diary to write down interesting things that happen during the day.

7. I finished reading Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport and the first thing I did was declutter 10000 tabs opened in my various browsers.

8. Absolutely in love with Freshly-made salads. Wherever I can find them. Crispy Mushroom Salad from California Burrito has become a regular order for me now.

9. I like to watch KVIZZING these days. It is a show hosted by Kumar Varun, standup comedian. Really enjoyable. The guests, the questions.

10. DIY. Papercrafts and 3D art. Check out S.V. papercrafts (author of the above shown papercrafts which I created). There are many cool papercrafters. You can check out my instagram as well!

Bonus: A great poem ‘So you want to be a writer?’ by Charles Bukowski (1920 – 1994)
