Hello all! Here are some of the things that I have learned in the previous month:
- The journey from zero to one requires a lot of patience. A LOT! Who doesn’t enjoy progress? But we rarely ask what real progress is.
- Done is better than perfect. A live and recent example: ‘Life of Riza’ (KARIZA SANTOS). She is truly an inspiration for me.
- Linear thinking is another trap. More about it in another post. Just remember to always ask yourself the right kind of questions.
- We are all going to die, so just chill. Don’t Panic.
- Everybody is trying to figure out their own problems. Nobody, I repeat, nobody cares about “YOUR” problems. This is a relief and a chaos in itself. I am sorry if you were waiting and hoping for someone else to come and help you solve your problems; that is just not going to happen. Stop worrying. Start living. There is also a beautiful film called Yes, God, Yes which I watched recently.
- Realizing the truth is just as simple as opening your eyes and seeing things as they are. It all depends on whether you choose to do it or not. 99.9% of us are not concerned about the truth, right or wrong. We are happy inside our tiny bubbles that are going to burst soon because that’s what bubbles do.
- The Beatles have said it before. ‘Living is easy with eyes closed…’ ‘Nothing is real and nothing to get hung about’
- One book recommendation: Steve Jobs Biography. You’ll be hooked.
